Dr. Siva Kumar is a distinguished medical professional, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with a robust
portfolio of achievements in healthcare, wellness, and social service.
Education and Early Leadership
Dr. Siva Kumar graduated from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in 1998, where he held
prominent leadership roles as the President of the Malaysian Student Association and Vice President of
the Interns Association. These roles honed his organizational and advocacy skills, laying the foundation
for his future contributions.
Professional Journey
After leaving the government healthcare sector, Dr. Siva Kumar established his general practice, which
has since expanded into a network of clinics and an elderly care center in partnership. Over the years, he
diversified his business ventures into the food and beverage industry, retail, wholesale, and the
import/export of brassware.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Siva Kumar played a pivotal role in public health efforts. He co
owned and managed operations at Malaysia’s first mega PPV (Pusat Pemberian Vaksin) in Bukit Jalil,
which vaccinated 1.3 million people. He subsequently co-managed another PPV in Ampang, contributing
significantly to the nation’s vaccination drive.
Philanthropic Contributions
Dr. Siva Kumar’s dedication to philanthropy is evident through his active involvement in various
charitable initiatives:
• Cambodia H.E.A.R.T Foundation: Serving as a medical advisor, he supports programs that
educate underprivileged children and promote community well-being.
• PLEDGE (NGO): As a key member of the executive think tank committee, he bridges financial
gaps for high-achieving underprivileged school leavers.
• Social outreach to Orang Asli settlements in Malaysia further highlights his commitment to
uplifting marginalized communities.
His impactful contributions earned him recognition in Britishpedia’s 2024 edition of Most Successful
People in Malaysia and Singapore.
