With over 20 years experience in the Accounting and Finance field, he has served at several large Accounting groups and with an established company for various functions and roles. Thiagaraj M. started his career in Peat, Marwick & Mitchell, which is currently known as KPMG. He spent 9 years there, during which time he gained in-depth knowledge in conducting bank audits. He is also a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. On obtaining the Chartered Accounting Thiagaraj M. joined Asie Sdn Bhd a construction firm to revamp the Finance and Administration. Following this he was appointed as the Group Financial Controller of Chellam Holdings Sdn. Bhd. to oversee the operations of the Group.

End of the year 2000 he was appointed by Maika Hodings Berhad to oversee and restructure their operations. Thiagaraj M. was instrumental in the purchase of Capital Insurance Berhad by United Oriental Assurance Berhad. In 2001 Thiagaraj M. was appointed as the Executive Director of Energy Management Services Sdn. Bhd. To oversee the operations, management and maintenance of a power plant in the Kulim Hi-tech Park. In 2006 he was promoted as the Managing Director until he left in 2014. He then pursued his personal investments and played an advisory role to numerous start-ups and SMEs.

Thiagaraj joined MNE Solutions (M) Sdn. Bhd. in 2020 as the finance director. As the Group Finance Director, he oversees the core financial activities, namely funding/liquidity management and investment, trading, treasury sales, and asset/liability management for the entire company
